Abyss Lake, Alaska

Abyss Lake is located around 31 miles from Gustavus in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, one of the nation's largest parks. Abyss Lake is situated on the eastern side of the Brady Glacier, its main source of water, it maintains average depth of 10 meters.

Fishing in Abyss Lake can be an adventure of a lifetime, it has much to offer anglers of all skill levels. Rainbow Trout, Pike and Dolly Varden, one of Alaska's most sought-after sport fish, are found in large numbers in Abyss Lake which offer some of the finest freshwater fishing in Alaska.
