Nimrod Lake, Arkansas
Located between the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains in Yell County, Arkansas, Nimrod Lake is popular with both professional and amateur fishermen. It is home to white and largemouth bass, bream, catfish and crappie. Carter Cove Campground, which has 34 campsites with water and electric hookups as well as other amenities, is located at the lake. Other area fishing haunts include Blue Mountain Lake, Kingfisher Lake, Lake Dardanelle and the Arkansas River.
