Blue Ridge Lake, Georgia
Thanks to its clear-blue waters, Blue Ridge Lake is one of Georgia's most scenic mountain lakes. It was created in 1930 by the Blue Ridge Dam and later bought by the Tennessee Valley Authority for power generation. The Lake has a full-service marina and boat ramps. Swimming and picnicking are allowed, and more than 90 national forest campsites are located nearby.
