Lake Burton, located off Highway 76 in Georgia, is home to the state's sole reservoir trout fishery. Each fall, Lake Burton is stocked with brown trout. It also offers excellent yellow perch, chain pickerel, and spotted bass fishing. Boating and swimming are also allowed, and there are camping and picnicking facilities at Timpson Cove Park.
