Deep in the heart of Georgia, halfway between Atlanta and Augusta, Lake Oconee ripples and its shores allure. Lake Oconee was formed in 1979 when Wallace Dam on the Oconee River was constructed. 18,000 acres of surface water of lake Oconee's are a heaven for swimming, water sports, boating, water-skiing, wakeboarding and fishing.

Lake Oconee has plenty to offer for the golfers with over 130 holes of golf and ten world-class golf courses to choose from for a spectacular golfing experience.
