Nothing beats the sublime beauty of a desert lake, its azure waters shimmering dreamily against the golden hues around it, green grasses waving invitingly in the breeze, beckoning to thirsty animals and weary travelers.
Fuller Lake, Illinois
Fuller Lake is located on the Illinois River in the Fuller Lake Management Area. Although water in the area is one contiguous body, it's divided into three sections, Fuller Lake, Upper Swan Lakes and Beaver Pond. Boat access is available at both Fuller Lake and Hadley Landing. The lake's large number of shorebirds makes it an excellent spot for bird watchers. In autumn, Bald Eagles can also be seen there, fishing the Illinois River.
Contact us if this lake is a drinking water reservoir or if it's located on a private property.
