Forest Lake lies at the center of Thousand Hills State Park in northern Missouri. It’s surrounded by a lovely wooded shoreline and wide savannas that offer lots of opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, and wildlife watching. Swimming, fish, and boating are allowed. Spend the day or spend a week. Cabins and campsites are available.
