Lake Manassas, located in Prince William County, Virginia, is unavailable to the general public. Formerly, an access point was operated by a local family under contract with the city of Manassas. Access near the area's water treatment plant has been denied by the county due to the potential threat of terrorists to the facility and/or the introduction of zebra mussels to its waters.
